Monday & Wednesday Rides (Show N Go)
So for the rest of March let’s start at 10:00 from the Methodist Church in Dunlap.
In April we’ll start at 9:00.
In May and the rest of the summer, let’s start at 8:00.
Please arrive early so the ride can start on time.
SPRING BREAKOUT RIDE- May 6th
DON’T MISS THIS RIDE!
The Spring Breakout Ride will be held on Saturday, May 6th, at Russell’s Cycling and Fitness in Washington.
Restrooms in the store will be available at 8:00 am and we ride at 9:00 am.
There will be 2 routes, one about 25 miles and one 40+ miles.
Joe Russell will be providing refreshments after the ride.
TUESDAY EVENING RIDE
Tuesday evening ride at Dunlap Grade School:
Steve Kurt leads this ride from the Dunlap Grade School. Mileage will be 20-30 as daylight permits. The speed for the group will generally average 17mph. The ride will regroup and make sure no riders are left behind.
From April 18 to May 9th, the start time will be 5:30pm.
From May 16 to Aug 29th, the start time will be 6:00 pm.
From Sept 5th to Oct 10, the ride will start at 5:30.

EDITH ALBRIGHT OBITUARY
Edith Rhoda Albright, 83, formerly of Chillicothe, IL died at 9:07 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2022 at Holly Brook Assisted Living & Memory Care (East Peoria, IL).
Born Feb. 28, 1939, in Colby, Kansas (Thomas County), to Ernest Redmond and Minnie Edith Munkres, she married Thomas Millard Albright on Sept. 8th, 1957 in Colby, Kansas.
Surviving are one daughter, Dr. Susan Albright of Chenoa, IL; two sons, Thomas “Mark” (wife Linda) of Castle Rock, Colo., and Aaron (wife Amy) of East Peoria, IL.; three grandchildren, Alex and Alison (East Peoria, IL) and Ashley Lipe (husband Matt) of Fairview, TX.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents and one older sister (Daisy) and her husband, Tom.
She received an RN’s degree from Methodist Medical Center and worked for many years as Director of Nursing for Galena Park Nursing Home and The Lutheran Nursing Home. Edith finished her nursing career at Wabco and retired from Caterpillar.
Edith was a dedicated bicyclist and a member of the Illinois Valley Wheelm’n. She twice bicycled across the United States (both Coast to Coast & Border to Border) with Wandering Wheels. She enjoyed traveling internationally and bicycled overseas including New Zealand, the Netherlands, China, England and Ireland.
With husband “Tom” she was part of Edelstein Do-Si-Do and Chilli Cast Offs Square Dance Club for many years.
Edith was an avid animal lover sharing her life with many dogs, cats and the ‘infamous’ parrot (George) she taught to talk. George lives and talks on in the care of Dr. Susan Albright, DVM.
A member of Methodist Church, Edith served on the Blue Ridge Cemetery board for several years publishing their annual newsletter.
A graveside service will be held at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Edelstein at 11am Saturday November 19, 2022. All are invited. There will be a remote ‘celebration of life’ scheduled in the near future. Arrangements are under the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
