Pam Hoehne – a loss to so many people. Peoria Ski Club, Illinois Valley Wheelm’n, hundreds of friends, her wonderful kids/grandkids. May you rest in Peace, dear girl. A life well lived but ended to soon.

Pamela Schuck-Hoehne, age 77, of Peoria passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026, at her home, with her family by her side.

Pam was born on October 11, 1948, in Peoria, the daughter of William and Ruth (Ioerger) Shuck. She was educated at Washington High School and La Chatelainie in Switzerland. After graduating, she attended Bradley University, where she obtained both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in counseling. Pam worked as a Licensed Clinical Counselor for both Proctor Hospital and OSF Behavioral Health until her retirement. She married Thomas Hoehne, and he preceded her in death.

Pam was an active member of the Peoria Ski Club and Illinois Valley Wheelman. She was a lifelong Jazzercizer and member of the Junior League of Peoria and Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.

Survivors include her four children, Abigail (Tim) Blackmore of St. Helens, OR, Elizabeth Kean of Broomfield, CO, Bridget (Rocco) Zito of Broomfield, CO, and Michael Hoehne of Peoria; nine grandchildren, Wally, Ben, Greta, Tabitha, Tessa, Vincent, Grace, Evie and Ruby; and beloved friend and companion, Joe Baumann.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Christopher Hoehne.

Visitation will be held at St. Philomena Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 10 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Father Luke Spannagel will officiate, and entombment will follow in Resurrection Mausoleum.

Preferred memorials in Pam’s memory may be made to Sohpia’s Kitchen.
